And my point right back at you is that millions and millions of people, in your
country as well as mine, and the countless millions from all over the world,
protesting do not a 'few' make.
Further, thanks to 'scientific polls', over half the Americans polled thought
that SH and Iraq was *responsible* for 9/11. Again, I prefer to get my
knowledge from a better informed and educated source.
As fer congress, politics played a huge roll--"with us or you're against us"
Yeah, now listen to the clamour coming up from below--and Dubya thwarting the
investigations into 9/11, missing WoMD, and questioning the basic legitimacy of
this fiasco.
Turkey dinner at 7 a.m.? Probably not worthy of 'string him up on a rail'.
Inciting a war of agression with no legitimate justification? A little more
legitimate if I do say.
What's the worst thing you had on Bubba? That he had a consenting affair with
an adult and lied about it? Hmmmm... Dubya's worst thing (that we know
of)--start a war with no justification, killing thousands of people and breeding
more animosity and hatred towards 'western civ', especially Americans.
Yeah, put a sock in it.

| (...) Would that we could compare that number to the number of innocents who would have been executed by SH by now. Chances are the latter would be higher, and thus Bush's intervention actually saved the lives of innocents in total. (...) We know (...) (21 years ago, 10-Dec-03, to lugnet.off-topic.debate, FTX)
