On a similar note, the American movie "Bowling for Columbine" screened
in Oslo a couple of weeks ago, and received very good ratings. The
reviewer were generally more happy about this movie than with "Two
Towers"! While "Bowling..." is certainly a very interesting movie, I
think that the very favourable reviews are just as much a result of the
negative attitude towards US foreign politics you find in Europe these
days.
There were approx. 60.000 people present during an anti-war
demonstration in Oslo, much more than expected. It was also the largest
peace rally ever in Norway.
