    eToys closing down —Lawrence Wilkes
   Dont know if this is new since all the posts about etoys 50% sale, but I see their home page quite clearly says 'CLOSING DOWN SALE' It says they are selling stock items until 19th Jan.       I placed 3 orders with etoys on the 29th & 30th December and 1st January. So far none have arrived although I have been e-mailed to say that the one ordered on the 30th is on the way.        Yep, I'd echo that. We placed a large order on the 29th and it only arrived today, whereas some smaller orders we placed after that were delivered a few days ago...       I had an order (£236) delivered today that was ordered on 30th December. Wow What an enormous box. I have still heard no news on the order made 2 days before but did manage to get to talk to etoys. I was told that the credit card had to be checked (...)
