I managed to convince my girlfriend that waiting until mine in November was
not an option, and that we (I!) was buying the sets as a Xmas treat for all
the hard work I've done ;) It's taken me 7 days since I received my order
from eToys to complete the Falcon, TIE UCS, and X-Wing UCS before work and
after work (while also trying to not alienate my girlfriend and daughter and
keep my daughter's little fingers out of the parts ... I found that she was
quite happy to cuddle C-3PO and Chewie while I built!) and not being able to
do anything at the weekend due to other commitments - I'm impressed with all
3 sets, esp. the Falcon as it looks much better IRL than it does on the box,
and those saucers parts don't look out of place. The X-Wing is amazing,
although I had to dismantle part of the rear fuselage as I'd got the gearing
mesh out by 1 tooth between the wing spurs on both sides so when closed they
were angled upwards ... oh yeah, it's heavy so be careful when carrying it
upstairs ;)

| Yep, I'd echo that. We placed a large order on the 29th and it only arrived today, whereas some smaller orders we placed after that were delivered a few days ago... For the record, we had a dispatch note dated on the 5th, so it took 5 days to (...) (24 years ago, 10-Jan-01, to lugnet.loc.uk)
