LOL
Well, Tim is an architect, another reason he is worth hanging on to ;-) He is
much better than I at ensuring that a Lego building is "architecturally sound"
He is a great designer too, though his lego buildings are rather Monty
Python meets Frank Lloyd Wright :-).
Me, I got caught up in the whole anal retentive art theory and philosophy
thing at Uni, and after I met Tim, I got interested in architecture. Although
I have finished all the theoretical units, I read/struggle with it for fun
(sick girl, I know)
We have just combined forces as he is now out on his own, and he provides the
building design (with a little input from me)and boring contract stuff and I
get to implement an art program (not off the ground yet) and all the interior
and exterior finishes (the fun stuff!)unfortunatly the rugby club that we are
currently doing hardly requires an art program. Though I suggested it-tongue
firmly in cheek :-)
What was the question? Oh yeah the theory, well I won't bore you with that
too much. Other than to say that I am good at building very deconstructive
Lego structures! Just like the real stuff...no one could live in them or would
want to -in thier right mind! ;-)
Rachel :-)
