With heading north, the Australia day weekend would probably suit me • better,
but I'll go with the majority decision...

I take it, then, that you guys were less interested in attending the
STUDfest, and more interested in the Powerhouse display?
That's fair enough, but I was primarily interested in the STUDfest, for a
chance to meet and trade with the STUDS and see their creations. Unless
there are a decent number of STUDS interested in having a "real" meeting on
the Aus day weekend (i.e. and bring their Lego) or if the STUDfest is moved
to that weekend, then I have to say I'm sticking with going up on the
weekend of the 4th Feb, as that way I can both visit the Powerhouse on
Saturday afternoon, and the STUDfest on Sunday.

On Sunday, I mentioned to Richard the possibility of switching the Studfest
to the Sunday of the long weekend, which is the 28th. As Paul mentioned before
4 days travelling makes it a bit easier on a trip of that length. So if you
used the Australia Day weekend, one day of work would give a four day break.
These things aren't set in stone, so MUGS, let us know.
