As opposed to the naming conventions that LEGO has used internally for years?
How about, instead of suggesting that LEGO change the way they refer to parts,
why not ask them to share *their* naming conventions with the AFOL community?

| (...) Do they have an internal naming convention? Is it in english or danish? Why are the thin walls train windows according to them? They were used in a lot of places. In the meantime, Partsref seems to me to be the most useful thing out there to make sure we're all talking about the same part. Lego can call (...) (24 years ago, 21-Jun-00, to lugnet.lego.direct)
