Hey LFB, it's funny, I bet some people may or might have happened to come
accros fell off a truck items that we may never know about or stuff people
may not not want to come forward with, Soooo indeed it is a mystery and a
cause for ponder. Hrrr hrrr.LOL! ok, look, I have some thing I thought was neat.

I'll explain. My Mother works at one of the Public Schools in Jersey City.
Remember that Space themed Mall tour that had the Huge Astronaut and Space
Shuttle... Well I guess somehow when Lego came to Newport Mall, a Press
conference was announced to open the Exhibit at the Mall. So when the School
got a copy of the Press Packet, the Principal I guess used it blahh blahh,
and when the Mall Exhibit Tour was over and the School no longer needed the
info in the Press Package, They Remembered me and then my Mom gave it to me!

They said " Oh, he'll like it, it has some pictures."

OMG, 3 Really nice 8x10 Black and White Photos of the Space Shuttle on it's
Crawler. A Picture of the 13ft tall Astronuat in his Space Suit. And a
Picture of the Space Module cutaway section showing the AstroTechs working
inside.

I Should scan them Sometime and toss em on my site and BS.

Amoung other Press and Literature.

Then there's this: you know those big ol Colored Gears from those real early
sets, where the cogs all laid on the plastic container tray and you cranked
the whole thing. You know the Big Red one, the Medium Blue, smaller yellow
then white. (for anyones benifet if they havn't seen them) ;)

Well, I really wouldn't say their weird or bizarre, but I (blush) use them
for coasters when serving drinks at my Table. It always strikes my non-Lego
friends as really strange, and most have never seen them before or would
believe it's Lego.

The only other thing I Have is which is something I recently aquired.
At the Jersey City Artist Tour this year,

Kelly,
http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=259344

Gave me Mint Condition Instructions for the Galaxy Explorer, Alpha Base and
for three other small Classic Space Sets. Like they have been kept in a file
folder all this time!

May not be bizzare, rare I would say, but I just found it unussual that
those Instructions would make their way to me.

Of course the next question was, "Well!!?! Where are the Sets?!!!??!!

Hi, everyone. I was going through a few things here at my home in Michigan, and I ran across something odd that I'd forgotten about. It got me thinking: What kind of true oddities that have some connection to LEGO--themed items, promotional things, (...) (22 years ago, 20-Oct-02, to lugnet.general) !
