The LEGO items that surprised me the most were not promotional but
were the HO scale cars the first time I saw them (the NLS, who is
into VW's, found some in a pile of toy cars at a yard sale-- I would
have completely missed them).
My current favorite is a kid's black t-shirt from LLC with a female
classic space mini-fig on the front. Neither of my boys have ever
worn it (I suppose because the fig is a *girl*), so I grabbed it in
desperation to wear to school for "crazy day"-- a bit snug, but it's
mine now! :-)
Oh, and I have a press pass on a lanyard to the Life on Mars show
they had at Legoland a couple of years ago as part of a radio promo.
(BTW Abner, if you are reading this, my sister gave me hers, so if you
still want one email me your address and I'll send it to you.)
