Funny thing with Exo-Force is it's based around the style of Japanese kids'
Anime and Manga that comes with associated collectible toys/cards etc.  And
most of these nowadays have a pretty good mix of strong male/female roles
(though admittedly rarely a female lead) as they know at least not to cut
out half the TV audience, even before you consider the customers for the
merchandise.

Oh, come on and be honest now.  Most Japanese anime/manga has female characters
for the male otaku to drool over.  Gratuitous shots that you just won't find in
American cartoons isn't called "fan service" for nothing.  And it's not just in
the stuff that's clearly tailored for an older audience, either.  Go do some
research on Kiki's Delivery Service sometime.

Yeah, sorry, but if you find anything about Kiki's servicy in the classic
sense*, you need to seriously consider not being a lolicon.

As to your original point, generalizations for the fail.  Yes, many anime and
manga series aimed at males do have classic service, but by no means "most."
And there is this other genre called shoujo that, being aimed towards girls, has
far, far less fan service in the classic sense.  Research more before posting
next time, please.

Jeff

* By classic sense, I mean T&A.  Fan service can be just about anything in a
show that is over the top designed primarily to please fans, such as lots of
mecha in a mecha show, constant romantic melodrama in shoujo, etc.
