I forgot one very recent addition. Hitomi from the Exo-Force line is only
available in the Golden Tower set ($30). Now, if you go only by character name,
Meca One isn’t available in a set under $50 (assuming you want his legs and
everything), and Keiken the sensei will hit you for $100 (the same set will get
you the only other complete Meca One). So, rare minifigs are available in some
of the more expensive sets because they are larger, and Hitomi got more
affordable treatment than others, all things considered (like the fact that most
minifigs in this line start at $15-20). And then when you consider alternate
outfits (which you kinda need to, since they completely overhauled the wardrobe
going into the second season of sets), things get really weird.

The Ninja Princess (white ninja, for those who aren't familiar with that excellent, but short-lived line) came in the third-largest set (Emperor's Stronghold: $40), and one of the (...)
