  Re: Apology and Admin issues.

If what Anthony says is true, then everything to do with Bryan is just sour grapes (i.e. he pretends not to want what we have chosen not to give him, namely approbation). Well, let me just say that no one gives me anything. Hardly anyone has seen (...) (23 years ago, 14-Jul-01, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

  Re: Apology and Admin issues.

I feel as if I'm going against my statement that I would not post unless it was about my site more and more, but I feel strongly compelled to reply, since Nathan appears to be beating himself up over this. I have been in contact with Bryan Buckley (...) (23 years ago, 14-Jul-01, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

  Re: Apology and Admin issues.

Nathan and all, hi. Chris, Pawel and I were talking here at Jeff's house and were thinking a lot. Here's what we were bringing up. Nathan has, in reality, put the most work into Castle World than any of us. Pawel was the administrator for the first (...) (23 years ago, 14-Jul-01, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

  Re: Apology and Admin issues.

(...) Firstly Nathan, I think I speak for everyone when I express thanks for handling the administrative duties of CW for so long now. I hope that my dissenting from your actions earlier in the week did not somehow equate to my disliking or being (...) (23 years ago, 14-Jul-01, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

Re: The Wanderer, an online image-novella.

(...) Then you are just not reading Bryan's post. He discusses elements of the story and however rude he may have been it IS actually a short critical ESSAY (definition of essay: A short composition on a single subject, usually presenting the (...)   Apology and Admin issues.

To all, I'd like to apologize for hastily coming to a decision to remove Bryan from the membership without bringing it up before everyone. I did contact a few members and asked their opinion before doing what I did but I should have brought it up (...) (23 years ago, 13-Jul-01, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

Re: The Wanderer, an online image-novella.

(...) I see very little in the way of Bryan trying to make "coherent criticisms." Most of his post bashes the story and insults the writer. That is NOT the way to conduct oneself, here or anywhere else. (...) But being none-organized group does not (...) (23 years ago, 13-Jul-01, to lugnet.castle.org.cw, lugnet.castle.ninja)

Re: Courtesy. ( WAS Re: The Wanderer...)

(...) I should specify that by "negative" I mean negative "sounding" or a negative "tone". In my book, constructive criticism *is* a postive reply. Throwing out every available cuss word and insult, is a negative reply. I'm just not using the word (...) (23 years ago, 13-Jul-01, to lugnet.castle.org.cw, lugnet.castle.ninja)

Re: The Wanderer, an online image-novella.

(...) Yeah, it rang a bell as I read the script. I rewatched it though shortly after that, and while you're right there are some similarities to the beginning I think there's enough difference to be safe from the lawyers ;) Thanks for checking out (...) (...) Well said. See also Larry's reply - I agree with his post as well. ... Sure, we all like to hear good things about our work. It makes us feel good, and prompts us to make more.   Re: What is Castle World?

  What is Castle World?

Hi, I recently was just looking around at the recent posts and came across the poster of Bryan Buckley (I think that's it), well I have seen him make some good posts in castle but I was actually surprised (I am 13 too) just what happens is these (...)
