I feel as if I'm going against my statement that I would not post unless it was
about my site more and more, but I feel strongly compelled to reply, since
Nathan appears to be beating himself up over this.

I have been in contact with Bryan Buckley for the past several weeks, and he
has told me of many things.

Though most of what I am about to say should be held in confidence, I feel that
it is relevent for this discussion.  I'm sorry if I offend you Bryan, but I
refuse to hold this back.

Many of his problems are with people such as Shiri, who, according to him, has
not done or built enough things to be as popular and important as they are.
He gave me a long lecture how Shiri had not done as much as myself and several
other people in CW in the large, big, huge castle department. This is due, I
think to his feeling of being ignored over the past several months.  I can
remember one thread were he mentioned Shiri's acronym list, and then Shiri
listed it after he did, and someone responded to Shiri's post and not his.
Bryan seems to hold a grudge quite well.  Don't worry Shiri, I tried to defend
you as much as I could.

Secondly, I talked to Bryan about being kicked out of Castle World.  To be
honest, Bryan has told me he doesn't care in the least about being kicked out
of Castle World, nor does he want to do anything to be let back in.  I've told
him that he should take up Kevin Maynes' offer to rewrite his critique in a
better way to make up for the first one in the eyes of us castle heads, or at
least to apologize to Kevin.  Bryan has declined to ever do so, at least to me.
Bryan says that he does not care about Kevin or any of the castle heads when
it comes to their opinions of him.

All of this negativitiy about Castle World stems from when he was first entered
into Castle World.  Because no one (or very few) repsonded to his post about
his acceptance into Castle World (and thus it means no one cared that he joined
in his mind), he has no reason to care about Castle World.

Bryan has spoken to me about his wish to perhaps join the western lego people,
and perhaps 'write the first western story.'  He has also spoken to me about
his washing his hands of these threads.

I say feel no pity for the boy, for he doesn't care about what we think of him.

Anyway, that's what I needed to say.  I will go back into the darkness from
which I came now, flame away at my revealing this information, I do not care.
Nathan, don't feel too bad about what you have done, Bryan doesn't feel any
which way about it.

That's my two cents

--Anthony

If what Anthony says is true, then everything to do with Bryan is just sour grapes (i.e. he pretends not to want what we have chosen not to give him, namely approbation). Well, let me just say that no one gives me anything. Hardly anyone has seen (...) (23 years ago, 14-Jul-01, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

  Apology and Admin issues.

To all, I'd like to apologize for hastily coming to a decision to remove Bryan from the membership without bringing it up before everyone. I did contact a few members and asked their opinion before doing what I did but I should have brought it up (...) (23 years ago, 13-Jul-01, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)
