This is a great idea. I'd love to see such a theme. "LEGO antique
civilizations" maybe? This theme could go on for years: chariots,
ballista's, galleys and mediteranean port sets, war elephants, bath
houses, coffee houses, arena's, temples, mosques, persian palaces,
the 7 wonders of the world (maybe as sculptures), a trojan horse
set and Odysseus adventures etc. etc.

Dreaming is nice, but I guess we'll have to wait till Disney does a
Ben Hur movie ;o)

I believe the prospects for official ancient toy themes relies on popular entertainment. (Personally, I'd rather not see an official one.) Unfortunately that iron has been heated and cooled already. The "Sword and Sandals" genre in the past few (...) (23 years ago, 3-May-02, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.build.ancient)
