And just what is wrong about this? What's wrong about having a day off to be
with the family?

Nothing. And if you choose to run your firm that way, it ought to be your
perogative to do so. No law should prevent you from closing your shop on
whatever day you choose, just as no law should prevent you from *opening*
your shop on whatever day (and for whatever hours) you choose.

Who are "keep Sunday special"? Are they the same sort of nutters that we
have here in the US that force certain sorts of stores to be closed on
Sunday in certain jurisdictions and prevent certain sorts of merchandise
from being sold even if they are open? (for example here in Grand Rapids, no
stores can sell liquor before Noon on sundays. Talk about your unfair
restraint of trade...

If the proprietor of The Entertainer chooses not to open on Sunday, or not
to stock Harry Potter, more power to him. Remind me not to buy shares in the
firm, though, as he's not running his business in the most effective manner
by doing that unless there is a huge contingent of folks that prefer it that
way to the point of not shopping elsewhere even if The Entertainer's stock
is 'rubbish'...
