My words exactly. It is only the segmented surfaces on the
round brick in the foreground that reveals that it is a
rendering. - Okay. There is also a revealing lack of ridges
between the bricks.

Yes. Has POV-Ray implemented rendering with proper optical
effects like varying focus? I can not remember how it is
done, but it would be a cool option to have available.

| (...) That is a rendering? Wow. I think the slightly out of focus effect, combined with the "area lights" makes the rendering look very credible. If it's done with (Mega)POV-Ray, I bet the rendering was pretty CPU intensive... Fredrik (22 years ago, 26-Aug-02, to lugnet.cad.ray)
