Hello (...) Yep.. i remember now.. there are existing even drafts for it and so on... The problems with these draft were: Its not just a model repository. From what I remember they wanted to only include models with have for example included the (...) (21 years ago, 23-Jun-03, to lugnet.cad.dat.models, lugnet.cad.dat.models.sets, lugnet.cad)

Hi! From my understanding some years ago it was planned to add this to the LDraw site. I dont know what happened to it and if there are any copyright issues involving the TLC. Hi all, does there exist a webside where I can find all the dat-models from original Lego-sets made until now? I thought something like the parts tracker but for official set-models. Thank you very much. I urge you to go ahead and use what you want I'd love to see some more western style models. I considered making this a 2 level bar with a bordello above and curved staircase but opted to keep it simple and make a separate (...) It may be because the were the last sets i actually collected and enjoyed which still maintained a bit of detail. If this (...) (...) I don't think so. I did some tests with MLCAD, starting with a straight one, then adding a curved one, and they align perfectly. You can blame MSIE and its crappy file handling here. Some parts of MSIE will use the MIME type from the server (application/x-ldraw or whatever) and some parts will use the filename. I remember reading once that MSIE in its infinite wisdom sometimes ignores MIME types and gleans the file type from the extension in the (...) If the content contains a '0 Name' line, then the name that's found on the line is the name that's now returned in the Content-disposition header of the HTTP response. Quick followup with more notes: I have MLCad set to be my default program to load LDraw files. It works just fine with opening files on my hard drive, but it will fail to open the file when LUGNET passes it 'ldraw.cgi.' Is this an MLCad problem? (I (...) It brings up a concern of mine - the CAD DAT groups and file associations/extensions in Windows. I'm a bit rusty on MIME-types in Win2K, cause I (...) Hmm, I like this one more. Also because one can build this easier than the other, because not everybody has that much slope bricks of one color. It's related to the size of the work area, I'm pretty sure, rather than the resolution they're viewed at. 4000x4000 is a pretty good sized chunk of memory, I expect. (...) How are you viewing the resulting image files? Have you looked at them at full scale? Your problem may be aliasing in the resampling of the images when viewed at reduced scale, and not a problem in ldlite. Check with Jacob for tips on how to (...) I have encountered a small problem rendering transparent parts with LDLite 2.4 and I am wondering if anyone else has run into it. consider the file flat.dat, attached It has a trans yellow, trans cyan and trans white brick in it as the first step (...) The attached .mpd file is showing a weird problem with colors when run through L3P and rendered in POV-Ray. There is a subfile that contains a single part. In there, the part's color is set to trans-red (Color36). The parent file sets it to black (...) (21 years ago, 25-Mar-03, to lugnet.cad.dat.models, lugnet.cad.ray)

Unfortunenatly the only motors I own are these (I have 2) and an older 4.5V one. Another LEGO friend is busy making me some gearing to give the motor more power. (...) That motor you're using is the old-style technic motor thats not geared down, so it has much less torque - you may have more luck with a new-style one (URL) however that may rotate it too fast. Inspiration was more of doing something with a dome using the sphere generator. It was part of Steendam at LEGOWORLD 2002! I am rebuilding it now, and adding more detail. Jaco "M.
