This shortcut can easily be edited for other track or sleeper colours/styles.

Have you or someone else considered making a shortbut for a straight to
curve track piece.  I am having a lot of trouble attempting to aline a
straight to curved track part. I can try to edit the file(s) from Tore to work with the 9V track.

I'm just intested in the 9V system.
2865.dat (9v straight) with 2867.dat (9v curve)

The 2867.dat part I can not get to aline with the 2865.dat part in MLCad.
The rotation even on fine is not enough to properly aline the two parts. =(
Perhaps the center point for the curved parts needs to be moved?

I don't think so. I did some tests with MLCAD, starting with a straight one,
then adding a curved one, and they align perfectly. But i see a small
mis-aligning when i create a quarter circle and add then a straight one
(rounding error?).

Note that i recommend the use of the new subparts / main
part(2865s04.dat,2865s03.dat, 2865.dat), because, with the official parts /
subparts you do have now, you'll see double studs placed on the 'track
connector' or 'track ends'. This can also cause the problem with
mis-aligning from the straight and the curved track.
The centerpoint of the curved track is at the center of the hole in the
center sleeper (check with L3LAB).

Perhaps you can read this one for help :

Oh is the 2865.dat still an Unofficial part?

No, this is an Official part, BUT, some parts will change IF they are
re-certified in the parts tracker. Changes are only following : moved the
studs from some subparts to the main part, this for stud logo alignment when
rendering in Quality level 3 (POV-RAY). This counts also for the Track Cross
(32087.dat & subparts). While creating the 2867.dat (curved track)
discovered i a little error in the 2865s04.dat subfile, with will be corrected.

P.S. If the problem persist, contact me at my home email address. We'll can
try to find out what the problem is.

Regards,
Ludo

Thanks, AHui
