Instead of wasting my time studying for finals, I decided to do something useful and built another plane instead. This MOC is a WWII-era Me163 rocket fighter (Germany). I don't know anything about how German motorcycles actually were used in WWII, but from my own limited military experience doing my national service in the Norwegian army, I can imagine how they might have been used. (...) The Germans did use motorcycles in combat - kind of a mobile light cavalry strike force. I'm not sure that they used them in conjunction with tanks. Beautifully done! I guess my only suggestion is to lengthen the blades on the rotor. Very cool looking and a very interesting form. Love those tail fins monted on the wings. Nice! Lots of great detail. I don't think the canopy looks out of place at all, but if you replaced the blue canopy with a clear transparent one (if you have one) I think it would work a lot better with the colour scheme. Hey gang, my latest creation is completed. With 3 technic motors, 1 micromotor, 3 fiberoptic banks, 4 large pneumatic cylinders, and 1 small pneumatic cylinder, this has a lot of nifty features. (...) The Star Wars canopy isn't entirely accurate. The BF 109's front windshield was a lot steeper then the SW canopy's is. (...) Thank you very much. The model is fairly front heavy (engines and all), so it balances very easily on the tricycle landing-gear. An excellent model, in a number of ways. I agree about the wings being too short, but I think you did a great job of capturing the angles at the base of the wings, which is probably the hardest part of the Corsair.
