woah, awesome!

There's so much detail everywhere, well could I really expect anything
'non-detailed' from you? No way. :-D

Heh... ;-)

It has a really cool shape to it, sorta reminds me of a soaring eagle, or a
hawk, and then at the last moment it dives at it's target, fires it's
missiles, and blows it's target clean out of the water. ;-)

Kinda like the Stuka, eh?

OH! Oh my! look! look! look! it has four barrelled machine guns, mounted
under the wings! woohoo! Seriously, I *love* your four barrelled machine
guns, it's such a cool design, and you use them so well to boot. I envy you.

Thanks Geordan. That four-barrelled rotary machine gun design is one of my
favourite weapons that I have built.

The tail is very clever, I really like the NOTAR idea, I didn't even know
such a thing existed. :-)

Neither did I; I saw it on Discovery Wings channel a couple of months ago. I
never really paid much attention to the tail part of helicopters, so this was
kinda cool to find out.

I really like the landing gear too, the fact that they fold in is cool
enough, but then you added hydraulic jacks to them! :-)

Thanks again. I just fooled around with a bunch of parts.

Where did you get all of those 1 x 1 dark grey cones? I don't even have one!
;-(

I bought eight 7106 Droid Escape sets (http://guide.lugnet.com/set/7106).

The colours are very cool too, neato desert camo,

The only thing I don't really like is the cockpit, it doesn't seem to fit in
with the rest of the colours too well, IMVHO, but then again, I have a bias
agains't that cockpit piece anyway, :-/

Oh, I definitely agree. I sort of rushed that part. I wanted this to be a
two-seater, but in the end opted for a smaller design. I really wish LEGO would
make long, slender canopies with rounded front parts... Then I could make all
sorts of cool stuff.

Tell you what, once I finish the all the .DAT files, I'll send 'em to you and
you can modify it, however you like! Just an offer...

Great work Mladen, Egad, now I have to go build myself a helicopter! :-)

Heh. Good luck!

(you designs are WAY too inspiring) ;-)

C'ya!

Inspired by:
Russian Hind D
helicopters seen in Patlabor 2
NOTAR helicopters
AH-1 Cobra (sorta...)

The "Loiterer" utilizes [1] NOTAR technology, therefore it needs no tail • rotor.
Also, it DOES have retractable landing gear. Just wanted to get those two
things staight... ;-)

Enjoy!
