Nice! Lots of great detail. I don't think the canopy looks out of place at all, but if you replaced the blue canopy with a clear transparent one (if you have one) I think it would work a lot better with the colour scheme. I really like the cannons and landing gear, never seen anything quite like that before. The wings look a bit long, almost as if you could take off the rotors and it would look like a plane. One thing you could do that might look cool, would be to make it a double rotor helpicopter, with one rotor attached to each wing slanted diagonally upwards. I wish I could explain what I mean better. (Any GIJoe fans remember the Cobra Mamba chopper?) cheers Magnus

(...) No, I don't have a clear (white?) canopy, sorry. Anyways, I'm glad you like the helicopter! (...) Heh, well this is sort of a "hybrid"; utilizing various types of technologies and design. Rick Hallman once made a heli with double rotors, see (...) (23 years ago, 3-Dec-01, to lugnet.build.military)

(URL) by: Russian Hind D helicopters seen in Patlabor 2 NOTAR helicopters AH-1 Cobra (sorta...) The "Loiterer" utilizes [1] NOTAR technology, therefore it needs no tail rotor. Also, it DOES have retractable landing gear. Just wanted to get those two (...) (23 years ago, 2-Dec-01, to lugnet.build.military, lugnet.space)
