It was hard getting all the curves to look right, but I feel it came out
fairly close to the original, considering the size.  I also added some
decals and a small ground crew set to add some interest.

Ah jeepers, at some point I want to make a German WWII MOC, but Gary just
snapped up another one, and an excellent rendition, too. The Star Wars
canopy works well in this case, thanks!

So what's left, the Me-262, Ju-88, some Heinkel and Dornier bombers? The
wooden jet fighter that never really flew? The humongous 6 engined
glider/transport?

(...) The "wooden jet fighter" I think you're talking about is the He162 (Salamander), which *did* fly, however poorly. They even had an Erprobungskommando outfitted with the things, but they were strictly forbidden from engaging enemy aircraft. Or (...) (23 years ago, 13-Dec-01, to lugnet.build.military)
