As much as I don't like to say bad things about others... I'd have to agree
with Mr. Sophie. I've seen this happen to a lot of sites... The sidebar
stops changing, the polls are no more, the links aren't updated... This is a
sickening trend because usually the site ends up getting taken off, (most
heartbreaking example was the gundam project). I know this won't be taken
off, but It makes me sad.

SO, I OZ THE LuRkeR hereby Give the strength of my voice in calling: "DAVE,
DAVE, WHERE ARE YOU DAVE??????!!!!!!!!!!"

1) The sidebar always keeps changing-that's just the nature of the beast.
New additions to it were even made tonight (thanks to Jon Palmer for the
inspiration)
2) Working behind the scenes means that many changes are suble enough that
the people who read the sidebar might not even notice them. Such is the case
with the updated links I've convered over the past six months.
3) I agree that the Gundam Project was a great loss, but these things happen
to sites over time. Fortunately, they aren't happening here at Lugnet
becasue someone will always be available to take over if that is needed.
4) I'm here! I never left! :) I just refuse to respond to the main thread
that is clearly an attack against me. There is no point in responding to
baseless accusations-just let it drop and anjoy the changing sidebar.

Dave, I thought we resolved the issue, why are you persisting. Just do your job and I won't complain. Slack off again and I'll be on your back. I'm holding back real bad. Eric Sophie (...) (22 years ago, 10-Feb-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)
