Thanks T, just to clear things up a bit, while our groups sits, dull and
boring, a simple search on BZpower site shows over Two thousand posts by
Dave, as well as being a moderator in several groups. AND running the last
couple of contests over there.

No posts enouraging people and their creations here.
I can't tell you how dissapointed I am that Tony took the time to run the
Mechastruct contest with no help at all from Dave. What a slap in the face.
That was totally messed up.

Further more:

At first Dave created the Mecha of the week. He then choose which Mecha were
to be featured. Later, he added the poll and created a sub-folder on
Brickshelf called "Mecha of the week wannabes"

THAT IS BAD TASTE USING THAT TERM WHEN YOU PICKED THE MECHA - THEN APPLYING
THE TERM "wannabe" TO PEOPLES CREATIONS WHO DID NOT ASK TO BE TERMED LIKE THAT!

Delete that crap your dissing people and you don't evan know it~

In addition, at the top of the sidebar, you use the phrase:

"10 Tips for builing mecha, Sun Yun re-works "my" original post."

Ahhhh what a big head! Right at the top of the side bar, how the heck is
anyone supposed to know who YOU are? Get rid of that!

Infact, when Dave first made the side bar he asked for input privately.
I know for a fact that a few people pointed these issues out and nothing was
done.
Why did you evan ask?!

I have heard tiny squeeks from Dave in another place saying he has had
computer problems and password issues. How am I or anybody supposed to
beleive that with the umteen milliom posts you got going over at BZpower?

Dave, I'm sorry, but the plain fact is you have too many issues and divided
loyalties to be the curator for this group.

I also am miffed that I have to be finnally be put in the position of saying so.

LAME LAME LAME

This is not a Bash Dave free for all, this is the truth and the truth is
your not keeping up on the job you were given. Instead you ignore us and
spend time elsewhere.

You don't build, you don't post. Nothing. Your out.

When this curatorship issue came up the first time, I through fault of my
own and a whole lot of noise from the peanut gallery caused me a great deal
of heart ache. Only to have brought enough attention to the issue to get you
noticed for the job.

I got my name dragged all over and now it feels like it was for nothing.

If you had personal, professional or BZpower related issues that kept you
from being here with us, the least you could have done is sent some of us a
message or given me a call. Where is the follow up? Come on!

You know we have mutual friends and communication is not impossible.

I think I have said all I can without loosing the point.

No updates, no support, no encouragement, lousy job.

I have a life outside Lego and yet I still give the .mecha community the
respect it deserves.

My next letter is to Suz.

I'm sorry you cannot keep up over here and you rather be over at BZpower
running contests and posting out the ying yang.

e

P.S. I admire the work some of the other curators have done in their groups,
we need someone that has the enthusiasum to make a fun place as they did and
continue to do.

What are we if we collect dust.

I second.

I think that Dave really innovated the sidebar here and made it alot more
interactive, but it seems he has let it go. Now I know there are things in
life more important and taxing then keeping up a running toll on what hot in
.mecha or keeping the links updated. But if you take on the responsiblity of
a curator, you should follow through with the changes you make.

Dave, I would like to hear what you have to say about this matter. If you no
longer have the time or no longer wish to run .mecha, I am sure there are
others, including myself, that will be willing to help you or take over as
curator.

As the BZPower Administrator, I would like to discuss Dave’s participation at BZPower since you have brought it up. Dave is one of our moderators. He is in charge of the BBC forum and does his job quite well when he is at BZPower. He also had run (...) (21 years ago, 7-Feb-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.admin.suggestions)
