You know, I was talking with Grand Admiral today, we were talking about .mecha
He mentioned that he didn't read it anymore because there really isn't any
use to reading here per lack of constructive criticizm.  I'm looking at the
above statement and think to myself,tThis is probably a good place to start.

You are probably not in the LMHoF because your stuff lacks, in my opinion, a
certain amount of polish.  For example, look at this optimus prime:
http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=286109
and compare it to this:
http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=249749
I'm not knocking you mind, I'd say you're off to a good start.  Transforming
mecha isn't easy.  But it's the details.  Focus on the details.  I would
recommend that you keep building and get better.

Ouch....

I was just jokin.....just a little joke.....

you had to compare me to dave.....the best...

his optimus isn't that great anyway.......

sure it looks EXACTLY like the toy......

it doesn't even transform.......

that was just my prototype Optimus anyway!!!!!

Wait to you see my new version the LMHOF will be begging to let me in and
I'm gonna be all "Nope" and their gonna be all "Well nevermind then" and
then I'm gonna be "No please I beg you!!!" Yeah you'll see.....all of you
will see HA!!!!

Mark Neuman *hmph* like your so great you are only like the 3rd best builder
on brickshelf anyway.....

i feel like crying......-Semaj *sniff*

How to critique, was Re: We need a new curator

Critiquing is kind of tricky. It takes a certain amount of maturity on both sides of the table. To paraphrase one of my mentors (warning, he wasn't the kindest of souls. I remember the triage of broken souls after his class.); 'Don't tell me what (...) (22 years ago, 9-Feb-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.general)
