I think he is talking about those wands that look like rainbow colored fuzzy cat tails. You run them across the screen on your television which charges the bristles (static electricity). (...) Toothbrushes can leave noticeable scratches on the surface of like-new bricks. "Static dusters" (as seen on TV! I just got my new Digital Camera (Kodak DC240). I will try to build the transmission with the pneumatics. Anyway, I made a thing that turned it from straight to turned, geared down, and back to straight. It just adds a way to shift it, and it also (...) Mine did not have this errata sheet. I would assume it pertains to the rear leg storage? Built according to the instructions, the mechanism for closing and opening the rear leg is *extremely* stiff. Check my page. I have wanted to do the same thing, but didn't know how. So I looked up a model in the encyclopedia and go the general idea. Do you have a big lego model, that´s covered with dust between the studs? then, you need a toothbrush! A toothbrush is great! Remember, angle the brush, use soft, gentle brushes. Mine has been tracking perfectly also. Is it possible that the tray was inserted into the box upside down? For the sets 1-6, 7-12, 13-18 the special inserts also work to illustrate larger models, and these also track with the pieces to date. It sure (...) The tires you are describing appear to be very simular to the tires on the 5533 Red Fury. These are the same tires just w/different hubs that came w/the 8880. The hubs for the 8880 have the inside rim for the special collar for the all wheel drive. (...) (25 years ago, 19-Dec-99, to lugnet.build)

I think that the main reason that the studs fit tightly in the sides of the technic beams is that there is no 'give' in the plastic that grips the stud, as is there typically when they connect to the bottom of a brick, or a plate, or what have you. (...) (25 years ago, 15-Dec-99, to lugnet.build)

I reexamined my rack-and-pinion design, and couldn't find another easy-to-implement way to mount the bricks, other than the studs-in-axle holes method. I have just uploaded three pages for the 86th Mobile Armored Police Division of the NYPD. These pages highlight three new minifig scale mechs I built late one night.
