Actually this is the building method I have chosen. Soon the red pieces
will be replaced by black ones from some of the new Moo Men sets...when they
come out. I also chose to put the stained glass (when done) behind the arch
pieces so that the edges and their curvature is not neccesarilly crucial as
they will be defined by the smoothness of the arches.
I decided on a total of 4 of these rose windows. 2 facing the front of
the ship; 2 the back.
Some other things I've done are put the small red arch windows with
black lattice on either side of the rose windows. This in my opinion looks
really different on a spaceship.

| (...) Jon, I think that may have been me talking about how to put bricks on the side to make lettering and round shapes. I was talking about using the 5:6 ratio of Lego to "round out" the sides of the window and make it look more round. An alternate (...) (25 years ago, 16-Dec-99, to lugnet.build)
