Hi Brian :) Looks great! for the most part you used only 2x4 bricks? I
see 1x's in the pic with the 3 parts are they just for stability? I'm
always amazed when I see "square" bricks making a circular creation! 2x4
bricks seem to be what I lack most in my own collection, I'm not much of
a bucket person...  I got 16 of the purple ones though those didn't seem
to have much in the way of 2x bricks.. and I think I only kept the 1x's
from it. One of these days I'm going to have to try my hand at something
like this!

Again Great job! I like it!

I used anything that came in the standard tubs and buckets, so that
would be both 1x's and 2x's.  The picture showing the 3 parts also shows
reasonably well the alignment pieces that aid in mating the top and
bottom to the middle.  (For referencee, these are white 2x2's seen on
the bottom of the top piece and the yellow 1x1's and white 1x8's seen on
the top of the bottom piece.)  They do not connect to studs in the
middle piece, but rather they nestle snuggly against the inside curve of
the middle section.

Now that I've gotten a firm handle on making circular constructions
I'm debating my next project to incorporate them into.  I was originally
going to make different urn styles and/or decorative patterns, but now I
think I may go in a totally different direction.  I'm also considering
working with thinner walls.  My current standard is 4, but I'd like to
see how far I can push that down without losing structural integrity.

While it's easier to make a solid figure, it uses a lot less bricks
to make a hollow figure.  For small creations it doesn't matter much,
but for larger creations it makes a big difference.
