I've been searching through Brickshelf for a long time, and have building my own mecha for some time based on things I find there, and put together a site recently after all this time: (URL) things are coming as I find them, as many pics and (...) I'm frustrated by minifig hands not fitting into the rest of the LEGO system. I have only found one place, other than minifig 'wrists', that accepts the little hand stem. Here's a cake topper, (URL) bride and groom are similar to the ones in the "Ultimate Lego Book". I built about 12 different people in all and my wife picked these. Then I made half a dozen gazebos and my wife picked this one. Actually she told me (...) I gotta say right off the bat, a gentleman by the name of Brad Hamilton would be a great place to start. Not only is he a great builder, his style is the first that comes to mind in regards to your request. He makes fantastic builings and is a Wiz (...) Here is a MOC I created of an accordian style sliding door. (URL) I had more pieces (for the turntable) I could have made it longer. One of the biggest challenges was building a 1x1 turntable. "Mechas" is the incorrect plural form of mecha. Mecha is like the word "fish", it can be used both as a singular and as plural noun. theres is now few new pictures. i test fitted the body and chassis, WORKS GREAT! thanks to perfect calculating. the enginehood has diffrent coloured pieces cause i had to make the sponsor-area with flat bricks. it wont show in final version :) next (...) (23 years ago, 14-Aug-01, to lugnet.build)

Actually, I was hoping to incorporate .DEM files into LDraw. At first glance I thought your utility could do that. It does so, but it generates studs instead of just plain polygons. Everything downloaded and unzipped great. Renamed all the parts to start with "K" and updated the mklist. Then I couldn't figure out why some of the parts wouldn't load onto MLcad...had to re-rename the "P" list back to original names. Now all works (...) Funny, I was just thinking that sometime this week I should try build at least a six or eight stud wide NASA Space Shuttle with the Train window pieces I have. Am I correct in assuming that the PGM -> DAT converter creates studs in the form of terrain? I saw the rendering of Falling Water and saw that the building was surrounded by lots of studs. The Confederation of Planets webpage has had some problems. Cross links to old layouts and the current layout have forced me to shut the entire site down and revamp the entire thing. However all those folders knocked my Cankerworm off the recent page rather quickly :-( <note the shameless plug!> Funny thing is that I made a Powerpoint slide show about 4 months ago but it was too big to load onto Brickshelf (...) I used Jacob's utility to create the terrain for the CAD scenes I did of Fallingwater: (URL) make the scene, I colored in a topographical map of the landscape with white as high and black as low. Since some people felt that my Raptor was a little too out there, I decided to build a slightly smaller and less outrageous HoverCycle. To that end, I present the Tornado. heres my second project, after the not-so-succesful AMC AMX which was technical failure. this new is Kevin Harvick's 2001 NASCAR chevy, and its now maybe half way done. bodywork is completed, and now im building the challengin chassis. the goal is (...) (23 years ago, 13-Aug-01, to lugnet.build)

I'm not a lawyer, but it may be a good idea for any person submitting an idea to put a small note next to them saying that they give lego full permission to use this idea in part or full.
