Time for me to weigh in on your fantastic new mecha, Geordan.

Thanks Dave!

Looks like you put the time to good use. Some of the best mecha I've seen take a
LOT of time to complete from start to finish and the tend to change quite a bit
in the interim. I'm putting the finishing touches on something that's taken 4
months to build due to other projects getting in the way.

I'm looking forward to seeing it!

snip,

I love these legs! They are reminiscent of Mladen's Azriel legs and Pat
Justison's j60 mecha. I'll agree that the arms don't measure up, but that's
acommon problem for mech builders...one part always seems to be lacking.

And for me it's always the arms, except on my mech in progress, the arms are
the best part, oh well.

Thanks for the links,

And you used it well! The light grey technic half pegs with stud have become my
favorite part lately as well. My next mecha uses them to hide studs, if you can
beleve that!

Thanks Dave! There just seem to be a milllion uses for that piece,

snip

No harm, no foul. You butchered the ONLY T-Bot part that is utterly useless.
Personally, I'd say keep it on. It's stronger than the Pohatu connection,
anyway. btw, nice use of my revised hip joint/Zodiac gun arm joint. You hid it
well. :-) I've been using that joint since T-bots first appeared and I've never
hidden it THAT well.

Well the design is similar to Mladen's Azriel so credit him, I just modified
it a bit to suit my needs.

snip-

I like the atmoshperic battle idea. I have yet to design a mecha soley for that
purpose. The turbines look good. The chainlinks blend in well.

Thanks,

snip

My only beef with the model are the feet. They just don't look like they can
support the weight of the model without falling over.

Actually, the feet are very, very strong, never had a problem with them.
Though I know they do look very fragile, but that was sort of intentional.

The steering vane idea is
a ggod one, though, and could explain the look.

I'm working on a way to use the raft as a shoulder pad....we'll see how that
works.

Sounds neat,

cool...anxiously awaiting it.

snip,

MK x redesigns are fun to do. I love taking a basic idea and re-working it over
and over. Currently, I'm doing this on my Overkill mech. MK III on the way-
September if I'm lucky.

Cool,

snip

Skipping from 2 to 22? Whoa! That's some re-work! j/k....

Whoa you're right, I'm getting a little mixed up me thinks.

My name is Geordan Hankinson, not ballantree, I'm still waiting for Kevin to
change that for me,

Thanks

-Geordan-

Yeah, I'm still waiting for Kevin to change mine to 'Lord of Lego Mecha', but I
doubt that will happen any time soon... :)

Hehehehehe,
