If you don't trust his offer and are not interested,
then delete the mail. But, this is a public forum and you are giving the guy a
bad name. You could have asked a question on Lugnet such as "Has anyone heard
of a guy named Helge Viker? Is he a good dealer in Lego?" That would have been
much nicer and still would have alerted the Lego user community of the email
you received from him.

My issue isn't whether he's a good trader.  I didn't ask to trade with him, and
I don't have the interest.  I don't care if he's a good trader.

No, my issue is with his incredible lack of tact in resorting to spam to
further his business.  If he wants to advertise himself, fine, just don't do it
at my expense in my inbox.

By simply deleting the e-mail and doing nothing else, I'd encourage his immoral
business practices.  By discussing it in a public forum, I can -- at the same
time -- alert others of this spammer, and give him a hint that there are those
who don't put up with his kind of abuse.

Cheers,
