Could someone explain the upgrade process? Where I am, none of the retailers have Mindstorms 1.5 in it (which is fine with me, since all the advice here is that you're better off buying 1.0 and then upgrading to 1.5). However, at all the places I (...) (25 years ago, 12-Nov-99, to lugnet.robotics)

I'm going to be at the Construction Site on the 20th

In case anyone's interested, I'm planning on being at The Construction Site on NOV 20 between 10:00 and 10:30. My parents and I are going to be driving to FL for Thanksgiving, and I was able to convince them to stop in Waltham so I could see the (...) (25 years ago, 12-Nov-99, to lugnet.loc.us.ma.bos)

  Re: What the...?

(...) Looking at the pics, I kinda doubt it. The T-Rex doesn't have any spinal ridges like on the Dragon tail. It might not have a moveable tail, either. Personally, I don't care. In fact, I'll only be slightly dissapointed if the tail drags on the (...) (25 years ago, 12-Nov-99, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Two Han heads?

Nice try hoping, John, but if you were to study the catalogs as much as I do, you'd realize that all it is is TLC's common trick of using one picture, and when they get bored of using it they just mirror it. On some sets it's easy to notice 'cause (...) (25 years ago, 12-Nov-99, to lugnet.starwars)

(...) year (...) Where did this come from? I haven't seen anything that says "Futbol" in the catalog, and frankly, I don't think Lego would be dumb enough to refer to the soccer sets this way in the US. It would create way to much confusion.   Re: LEGO name change

(...) Well, if we really want an acronym, (I think LEGO is fine) I guess that since the "the" is lowercase then it could just be "LC" Often times in acronyms the "the"s and "and"s and such are left out. TLC just has too many other meanings. T-Boz, (...) (25 years ago, 12-Nov-99, to lugnet.publish)

  Re: LEGO name change

Being a LEGO Fellow at MIT, I receive an employee magazine. It was stated to all employees. I have seen the change implemented in a few areas, but undoubtedly it will take time. note: the "the" is lowercase in the Lego Company. If looking for a new (...)
