  Re: The RTS Zavala Steamship-of-War

That MOC is an amazingly cool! So many details to see, I think the construction is very interesting. From the stem to stern. From the way you rigged the lines above the prow, to the very nice looking sails, to the way you expanded the hull, to the (...) (16 years ago, 17-Dec-08, to lugnet.pirates)

(...) I am glad you liked it! (...) The ability to build the hull is what lead me down the trail to the briar-patch of design issues in building the Zavala, OK so I had fun...   Re: BayLUG in the News

I explained that the reporter misunderstood, and had done the interview before we ever set up the display so he didn't see it, and they were mollified.   Re: The RTS Zavala Steamship-of-War

(...) Awesome work, Kurt. A great model of a vessel from an interesting but oft overlooked period. (Which is odd, because as you demonstrate, the length/width ratio of vessels was changing to a more LEGO-friendly one). Spotlighted! Cheers Richie (...)   Re: Western Train with instructions

(...) Ahhh I found them. The original loco and the last two. I must have accidentally switched LPub across to a different setting before doing (and redoing in the case of the loco) the instructions. Newer versions will be uploaded. Tim (16 years ago, 16-Dec-08, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.cad, FTX)

  Re: BayLUG in the News

(...) It doesn't. Last weekend was the first one being open since the article came out, and I heard all weekend we were having to explain to people why stuff mentioned in the article was not actually on display. The public was very confused. Russell (16 years ago, 16-Dec-08, to lugnet.org.us.baylug, lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf, FTX)
