I remember discussions and field reports on early (ca. 1998) shows where the
LUGNET community were reporting common questions and topics brought up by
attendees at train shows with LEGO layouts at them. It became apparent that
similar questions were floating around out there about how best to adress the
public, and handouts were the best choice. I got tired, in a good way, of
repeating myself at a show in '99, even though I had started a handout of my
own. I realized how inadequate it was! PNLTC has been at the forefront of
experience, and we've used then as a resource since nearly day one.
