I am right here reading everything everyone has posted [1]
Yes, I am on-board for the GATS show January 11 and 12. I am in favor of
entering a contest with the chance of earning a premium instead of a one-day
show that wants to charge exhibitors for tables. Even if we don't win a
contest (and I don't expect we will the first time out) we will be better off
than if we paid for tables. Plus, Syracuse is a better location for all of us
than Binghamton.
I have not posted much because Ed and I have been busy passing email back and
forth. Actually, Wayne is the one we have not heard from yet. He knows we are
dependent upon has cache of train track and bridges.
Also, have not heard from Alan Demlow or Dave Amos. Dave--if you have anything
you would like displayed at this show we need to arrange a time and place for
me to pick the stuff up.
Nate and I should be able to get together for a few building sessions prior to
the show. I am anxious to see how his dam/tunnel/bridge/mountain is coming
along; I want to see what he has come up with using the pieces I loaned him for
the project.
Okay--picture this: at our practice layout last month I had several cross
streets set up and had rectangular city blocks with buildings facing each
other. My plan is to eliminate many of those cross streets and re-orient the
buildings so that they will face outward so people can see them better. Most
likely, the number of building lots will increase, but I have no doubt that
we can fill all the spots properly. I should work with Ed to devise a likely
TD setup.

I just refrain from posting until I have something important to say.
