I asked the organizer about using our own tables, and it's OK, but I don't
recommend it. We could bring ours along as spares, I suppose, since
technically it's allowed, and other clubs will be at the show with modules,
but I think we should stick to the norms for this first group/club event.
Easiest set-up and tear-down anyway, given the short show length.
Kevin had a thought about reserving two more of the show's provided tables,
for a total of 6. I'd guess that would be a 2x3 arrangement, with 60"x288"
layout. While I agree with Kevin that we have enough materials to cover
this, I wanted to see what everyone else thought. It just adds to the cost
of the show, I guess. LMKWYT.

I'll send in an application package once we've decided on the number of
tables. I've discussed with the organizer what our layout will consist of,
but I don't think he really gets it, so I'll send along some pictures as
examples of our setup, OK? That way, as he and I agreed, we could have
proper exposure to people attending the show. We'll get a great spot near
an entry, and that's the best way to go for this venue. It's set in a
museum with multiple levels and pathways, so having access to direct traffic
is our goal. The organizer agrees with this.

I'm looking forward to it!
Here's what I need from y'all so far:
- Anyone else planning on attending?
- What stuff can you bring or contribute to an attending member?
- How many tables should I reserve - 4 or 6?
- Any pictures of our Nov. 2nd meeting that I'm not aware of?
Thanks,
Ed

| An update - I've been in contact with the show's organizer, and the date is confirmed for Sunday, January 12th, from 9am until 3pm or so. Tables are $18 each (!) and we had planned on four to replicate the very decent layout we had at the Nov. 02 (...) (22 years ago, 22-Nov-02, to lugnet.org.us.lucny)
