I just wanted to say that I had an absolute blast on Saturday - one of the best outings I've had as a member of NELUG. Despite having to rebuild my one section repeatedly (thus creating "The Gash"[1]), we probably could have completed our building (...) I was curious what the dimensions of the speed regulator are or point me to a link or article? I'm looking for the dimension in studs, of course, both with and without the power cord connected (if it even matters). I didn't see anything in the Train (...) I am thinking of building a 4-4-0 steam locomotive using BBB wheels. If I was to use the small flanged train wheel as the front wheels then the driver as the driven wheels (with a connecting rod linking them), what would I need? Would I need drivers (...) Dear Jake or LEGO rep, Just saw that 10133 is now available for pre-order on Shop-At-Home (awesome, thanks!). The description doesn't mention adding a motor or light kit. Scince I already plan to make solid metal wheels, I was thinking of drilling the center wheel larger on one side, and using an insulating insert. And (...) I recently purchased a couple of cars form my Santa Fe engine. And I decided to install lights in the end car. To power the lights I ran a wire from the egine. I've been woring on an EMD SD-40 eginine. And I wanted to have 6 wheeled motor trucks. But I also wanted it to be able to negotiate turns and switches. Yum, love that dark red:-d Here is a monorail I built for an upcoming S P A C E project I'm working on: (URL) It is 10 studs wide, with its sides virtually level with the track height.
