A first ever course for racing LEGO® RC Cars will be at the NWBrickCon™ 2004.

Dan Parker, founding member of PNLTC (now PSLTC), owner of TbP (Trainbuilder Productions), and a sponsor of this year’s NWBrickCon™, has built a large RC race course for use by all Con Attendees.

The 15 x 38 foot course will feature obstacles, loose brick pits, jumps, and other hazards. Open practice is allowed anytime the TbP shop is open prior to competition racing.

If you have ever wanted to test your car and skill against others (or just against yourself), build your LEGO® based car (no non-LEGO® components will be accepted for competition) and bring it to the Con.

A sign-up board will be posted trackside and pre-registration with Dan Parker at dnvpark@juno.com is highly encouraged.

On Saturday afternoon, Drivers will be invited to race for glory and prizes. There will be elimination rounds with a final competition later that evening.

There will be prizes for the first three finishers and fun will be had by all!

You do not have to own a car to participate - Dan will have a limited number of TbP “shop cars” available for use ($5 fee for batteries and wear/tear).

So, all you race fans, get ready for the first ever NWBrickCon™ Days at the Races!

On behalf of Dan Parker,

Wayne Hussey

NWBrickCon™
