  Town & Train Display - Festival of Trees Pictures & Report - MichLUG
 
(2 URLs) This was our second year working with the Festival of Trees. This is a long show for us, with the display being up for a little over a week.   Coast Guard Base
 
For last November's GATS show in Pleasanton, CA our club didn't have the usual waterfront models, due to members being on vacation, so I built this to fill in the missing coastline. It's a United States Coast Guard base with helicopter and cutter (...) Wow. The insane amount of repeating parts you have makes for an awesome scene. It feels very Pacific Northwest. And the cabin is studs-sideways, to boot. Thanks for the comments. In terms of the cabin's size, it's really not all that big in terms of scale. The downstairs has a small bedroom, kitchen, bathroom, dining area, living room and laundry/mud room. The upstairs has 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. (...) Nice MOC! My question is why the twin pod design? I've always wondered what the purpose of a twin pod design in the cloud car has if there is only one engine between the two.   Snotcycle - spacecraft built on a one-piece motorcycle
 
This is a spacecraft I built using an idea I had when I was a kid that I was never able to complete. It uses only the top 2 studs on the rear of a one-piece motorcycle and the taillight stud for an anchor. When I was younger it seemed like a really (...) I just finished a very large Lego minifig scale replica of the Fisher Building, a 28 story skyscraper in Detroit, Michigan. Hey Sean, This is way cool! The figs actually look to me like they're ice skating, which suggests an ice rink as a possible MOC. Perhaps the Brick Apple could use a Rockefeller Plaza creation? Here's a three-trunk tree that I built for my railway layout: (URL) I used 2L black technic liftarms to attach more flex tubes to the central one. The white blobs underneath are geese! Here's a spiral staircase for those of you who do stately homes or castles. You might like to make a mirror image pair of them for a mansion.
