Brendan-Style storytelling

My dream of hearing someone say Brendan-style has been achieved. And its
(seemingly) not even in a negative context!

Although this is not nearly as narrative (or as well executed)
as the Reverends work,

Its true, my work does include more executions.
Great job on the overall supermarket look and environment, Keith--the
well-stocked brightly colored shelves against the b/w floor tiles are very
effective.
But the little details are the most fun. Some very cool minifig characters
here, particularly the chick with two pistols and the Moses-looking dude with
reflective sunglasses. Bad ass. Love the broken glass (or is that pieces of
ice?) coming from the where the zombie has breached the frozen food section.
Excellent appropriations of the check-out line shelves and shopping carts. They
look great here.
And I very much like the suggestion of actual narration with the shopping carts
being piled in front of the entrance in the final photo.
Photography is continuing to improve, getting right in there for some more
movie-like angles on the action instead of the Im-photographing-my-MOC look of
overhead and wideangle shots. Soon youll be exclusively building scenes with
one or two walls maximum, just so that you can stick the camera right up in the
minifigs faces--like me! And like me, your MOCs will look terrible except from
that one particular angle you built them to be photographed from! And you wont
have any impressive MOCs to bring to Brickfests! Yes, there are many great
things to look forward to as you progress down the road to LEGO-illustrated
narratives!

PS. I love that this is under lugnet.town. Its about time town got a little
more bad ass.

| I thought I'd take a shot at some Brendan-Style storytelling. Although this is not nearly as narrative (or as well executed) as the Reverend's work, it was a blast to make. The ongoing 'plot' will be based off the classic work: The Zombie Survival (...) (20 years ago, 1-Feb-05, to lugnet.build, lugnet.town) !!
