  "Blue" pieces in new Alpha Team set #4742
 
I recently saw the new Alpha Team Chill Speeder set #4742 [LEGOSet 4742] I looked up the set on Peeron, and it said that the blue pieces are the Medium Blue shade. The Statue of Liberty's pedastal was built in the middle of 11-pointed star-shaped Fort Wood on Bedloe's Island. Hi Mark, I'm 'collecting' tan also for catle structures. I think it's an adequate choice for the red-sand like bricks they used in many (European?) castles anyway. With the color change of grey (and the fact that white fades quickly - my Union Station is already showing aging, although I think it improves the look), I think tan will probably take a higher place in my color choices for town (...) The Kohl's in Salem, NH has the same deal. 4047, 4048, and 4101 on clearance. That sounds like an awesome project and I would be interested in purchasing one when made available. I'm always looking in toy catalogs for old lego toys and their worth but haven't had any luck. I was lucky enough to find two copies of 4852 The Final Showdown on clearance ($12.99 ea.)!!! Please note, this is still a work in progress.. It all began over a year ago when Paul Baulch mentioned that maybe a city in microfig could be done. I've been wanting to build buildings around my Lego railroad - not just open-backed buildings like are in most Lego sets, but buildings which look good from all directions.
