I totally love the Bannenware tower/keep, it has the distinct look of continental European late medieval architecture. Is it modelled on a real castle? Back in July I built a city block of mostly "historic-style" buildings to go on the Vancouver Lego Club's train show layout. (...) Try using some of those 1x4/2x2 hinge bricks - they'll come in handy for making those angles. Like Jonathan mentioned, you'll probably hafta start of with tiles somewhere... Also, pieces with round edges can be placed at angles other than 90 (...) (23 years ago, 4-Oct-01, to lugnet.town)

Check out the Open Directory Lego : Town: Communities Section. It is divided up by city size. (URL) have located pretty much all the LEGO City and Town sites that have something worth looking at.
