Hi Chris,
Thanks for the comments! Feel free to steal the window (or any) of my
designs. The round parts on the cornice are headlight bricks (set back a
stud on the bottom--2 studs on top) with a 1x1 green round brick attached
sideways.

It's always suprising when such a construciton of simple and common
pieces fools the eye.

100% agreed.
Quite often I find that when I *try* to be clever & sophisticated with my
building techniques, the results are pretty beat. When I just 'let it flow'
with simple parts, I am usually much more happy with the end result.
Interestingly, I am a songwriter (self proclaimed) & the same thing happens
when writing.
