I read in another post that Lego wants to target the sets to 5-10 year-olds. I
have 2 kids in that range.
There are several MOCs on Brickshelf that I think Lego could take inspiration
from and produce sets. My two boys agree that they would put these very high on
their want list.
Name of theme: City vehicles
Possible sets
1. Backhoe
2. Excavator
3. forklift
4. loader
5. American fire
engine
Lego has released sets with these ideas before, but not with this quality of
realism.

| (...) Great idea! I'd love to see any vehicle with this amount of detail from LEGO, and I think that we are finally starting to see them. The last several city vehicles have been pretty good. 6 wide vehicles provide a great balance of detail vs. (...) (16 years ago, 14-Jul-08, to lugnet.town, FTX)
