I saw one once (in the uk) strangely enough it was on the road directly off
the one where I live. It was coming up the hill towards me, riding on large
balloon tyre's it was rather impressive and larger than I imagined. It was
pulling a trailer loaded with foliage so this supports the assertion there
used in agriculture.

I always thought it was a Landrover you can't mistake those familiar lines.
Incidentally I drive a Landrover although mines a Discovery.
