The 8448 looks like a 4th gen Camaro to me. Front engine, V8, convertible, mag wheels, with the secret white plastic seat option you can only get through Lego-Chevy dealerships. The Lego version has more cup holders than the Chevy, and costs about (...) (25 years ago, 1-Oct-00, to lugnet.technic)

Tobbe, You could possibly use 2 of the Technic 3 bladed rotor parts, rotated 180 degrees from each other. This gives 6 blades, but 3 of them are set back 1 plate's depth. Well ... If you don't mind some small sticking-out bits, perhaps the 1/2 bushings and the steering arm piece with one hole at each end and the studs in between, plus some small 2 or 3 long axles would do the trick? How many meter of this tubing do you need? Simple, and very cheap (Dutch solution ...) Buy this copper-filled electric wire, used to connect the internal system in your house. Available in red, blue, yellow-green, brown, black and maybe more. (...) (25 years ago, 16-Sep-00, to lugnet.technic)

I tend to think of anything with less than 200 parts as a parts pack to lump in with bigger stuff ... Like sets with around as many pieces as the Mindstorms Vision system - most could be classified as a fairly good parts pack, and a quicktime camera (...) (25 years ago, 16-Sep-00, to lugnet.technic)

One if mine broke. I called Lego and they happily replaced it, free shipping. I was surprised that the rep knew exactly what I was talking about--she went ahead and sent me two new ones, instead of just the one that broke. I realize now that it is a (...)
