  Integrated Plastics' Add-A-Drawer
 
Is anyone out there using the Add-a-Drawer storage system by Integrated Plastics? I have about 400 of these for my electronics and workshop parts, but I was considering using them for Lego too. I'm just wondering if anyone has any experience with (...) (24 years ago, 3-Apr-01, to lugnet.storage)

Hi This is my First ever MOC, after collection Lego for 8 years i feel shameful. But i now starting to get great ideas in my dreams :-) so there is more to come in the future... I've been doing mostly my size and shape for all parts that I have small enuff quantity to fit into Plano 3700 and the shallower boxes. 42,000 pcs in... 10/3700 17/shallower, 1/3drawer cabinet and basic bricks are in 15 plastic showboxes and 2 blue (...) I re-sorted my Lego last weekend and I'm pretty happy with it. I have finally exited the By-Color phase of my sorting system and graduated to the By-Shape phase. I don't have enough Lego (or patience when sorting) to go to By-Shape-and-Color but (...) (24 years ago, 16-Mar-01, to lugnet.storage)

I'm replying to an old message I found here. The simplest sorting method is always the best when it comes to children. The WORST thing you can do to a young child is make playing with lego a chore. NEVER make him sort it by piece and only by type (...) (24 years ago, 16-Mar-01, to lugnet.storage)
