Personally, I have Four catagories: Humanoids, Characters, Animals, and The
Created(1). Humanoids includes all Minifigs (including Jar-Jar) and
Minifig-like figures, like Battle Droids and skeletons. Characters is sorta a
catch-all catagory for non-humanoid sentient characters, like Gasgano,
Sebulba, and R2-D2. Animals is for any animal, like Sharks, Monkeys, Dragons,
etc. Finally, The Created is for all charcters made of regular parts, Like
Classic Space Droids and Pit Droids. Only the First two catagories count as
"Figures" for Data entry and such.
