Anakin Skywalker is NOT the person who will bring balance to the force! He
is NOT who the scripts are refering to. That role is his son, Luke
Skywalker. Lucas, in some interview a few years back stated that Luke, not
vader, was the one that would bring balance to the force. This event,
however, des not occur during the classic trilogy but after that in a Dark
Horse comic. The event occurs after Luke comes back from the dark side and
destorys the 2nd Emperor Clone and brings the re-creation of the 2nd jedi
council.
What if he simply has an "ends justify the means"

The emperors downfall in Return of the Jedi is NOT the rebellion. He DID
forsee the destruction of the rebellion according to his plans. His
downfall however were the ewoks! Lucas wanted to portray that between the
stuggle of technology and the spirt to survive that the spirt to survive
would ALWAYS prevail. He showed this in the battle of endor. The empire
had the best technology going into the battle, yet the ewoks with their
primative weapons won the battle. Not becuase they were smarter but becuse
they had the spirit to survive. Lucas in an interview in the VHS Tape of
the ROJ special edition talks about this.

| Alright, I just saw Episode II. I'm sure that will be a shock to some people. I plan to make up for it by seeing it again tomorrow night. Anyway, in the course of watching the movie I think I might have figured out The Big One. I mean, the great big (...) (23 years ago, 21-May-02, to lugnet.starwars)
