BTW - also bear in mind that only in the 'expanded universe' (everything Star Wars OUTSIDE the movies) is the ship even identified at all. I expect a rather wild mix of white, tan, light and dark grey, with the new dark red only used for markings (stripes). Take the UCS X-wing for example. The designers at LEGO are said to be color-blind at times, but I hope they're not THAT (...) (23 years ago, 23-Sep-01, to lugnet.starwars)

The Tantive IV was the Rebel Blockade Runner. To paraphrase the Star Wars Behind the Magic CD "[The Empire belived the Rebel Blockade Runner to be a massive battle platform but discovered it was just a run of the mill Corellian Corvette.]" As for (...) sorry, no scans...but I'll tease you :) 10019 - (blockade runner) is over 71 cm long, 1748 pcs, and features a new brick colour..."sand red"...it's a dark/brownish red. 10018 - (Maul bust) is 48cm tall and 1860 pcs....both are very cool..and (...) (23 years ago, 22-Sep-01, to lugnet.starwars)

It clearly states it is a Rebel Blockade Runner, but not necessarily the Tantive IV (or whatever the number was). I have seen pictures of all Blue and all Red RBR's. But the diplomatic crafts have to have red on them somewhere. So maybe we could see (...) (23 years ago, 22-Sep-01, to lugnet.starwars)

I receive my 2001 holiday catalog today and these were in there. I orderd them already! late November looks like the date on delivery. I am concerned about the piece counts of the "Story Tellers" sets. Come on, 23 and 29 pieces for $7 each! (Final Duel sets) What can they possible make in this number of pieces? I'm looking forward to the Yoda scupture. I just found some homebrewed instructions/parts list on the 'net for the Target version and was thinking of collecting the pieces to do it. I was in Target last night here in Richmond, VA, and noticed that there is a special Target Star Wars boxed set - Landspeeder and Slave I for $14.99.
